Our families are busier than they have ever been. Practices, screens, deadlines, and drive-throughs set the tempo of our weeks. Family Camp is a holy interruption: two nights in God's creation where the schedule serves your family instead of running it.

Draft schedule. Times and sessions will be finalized closer to camp. Every meal opens with the day's memory verse, said by the whole camp together.
Four tribes. One epic weekend.
At check-in, every family is drafted into a tribe: a cluster of 8 to 12 families gathered under one of four creation focuses. Kids, parents, and grandparents compete on the same roster all weekend, age-balanced on purpose, and everything from the games to the verses you memorize banks points for your tribe.

It all comes down to Sunday morning, when the winning tribe hoists the Cedar Cup at closing. Bragging rights last exactly one year.
Banners, symbols & badges
Friday evening each tribe gathers to design its own symbol, something the families create together, nobody hands it to them. Then every family paints their banner: family name big, tribe symbol in the corner, and hangs it in camp. All weekend the banner collects badges: some are earned in challenges and completed devos, and some are noticed, awarded by leaders who catch a kid or a parent living the verse when they think nobody is watching. Sunday's badge ceremony tells the story of your family's weekend, and the banner goes home to the fridge.
Hide It in Your Heart
The camp memory challenge: Psalm 19:1–4. Kids take on verse one, adults take the whole passage.
Recite it to any leader before Sunday breakfast to earn your camp patch and bank serious points for your tribe. Every reciter gets celebrated at the closing showcase.
You are the teacher. We hand you everything.
This camp has one conviction at its core: God gave your children to you, not to a program. So there are no kids' classes and no session lineup. Families lead their own devotionals all weekend with kits we prepare, and the whole camp only gathers for meals, evening worship, and one lesson.
The One Corporate Lesson
The only taught session of the weekend: how to teach your own children. Friday night you learn it, Saturday morning you use it, leading your family's devo before anything else happens. The Thursday Summit is the extended deep-dive version with expert Q&A.

Every devo comes as a complete kit: the scripture, the big point, discussion questions and illustrations graded from preschool to teenager, a hands-on activity or craft, and memory verse practice. Ten minutes of parent prep, zero seminary required.

Dutch ovens, secret recipes, and bragging rights. Teams cook, the whole camp judges, and everybody eats the entries for dinner.

Saturday afternoon your family paints a wooden frame, then sits for a free sunset mini-session. You leave camp with a framed family photo you made together, not one you ordered.
